A Safe Shelter for Children in ChernihivKindergarten No. 46

Help us equip a shelter at Kindergarten No. 46 in Chernihiv, attended by over 100 children, including those affected by the war.

In just the first half of 2025, Chernihiv has experienced 1,383 air raid alerts, each lasting an average of 2 hours and 10 minutes. According to safety protocols, children must stay in shelters during each alert. However, the current conditions at Kindergarten No. 46 are far from safe: mold on the walls, worn-out furniture, damaged flooring, and ceilings in disrepair.
The kindergarten is attended by 107 children, including 53 with war victim status, 5 internally displaced, 1 child of a fallen defender, and children from large, low-income, and special needs families. We aim to provide them with a dignified and safe environment before the new school year begins.
