The project is implemented within the framework of the "Unity for the Community" project, carried out by ISAR Ednannia with co-financing from the European Union and the Minderoo Foundation.
This project aims to equip shelters in the kindergartens of the Ladan community in the Pryluky district of the Chernihiv region — "Chervona Shapochka" and "Barvinok" — so that children remain in a safe, comfortable, and child-friendly environment during air raids. Within the project, we are furnishing the shelters to ensure the space is convenient for learning, playing, and staying during prolonged air raid alerts.
The goal of the project is to create safe spaces that allow for:
• Comfortable stays in the shelter during alerts• Continuation of the educational process• Support for the children's emotional state
We cannot cancel the alerts. But we can ensure that children are not afraid.
The project is implemented in stages:
Needs Assessment
Together with the institutions, we determine exactly what the shelters need.
Space Planning
We develop solutions that take into account the number of children, area, and functionality.
Procurement and Logistics
We organize the purchase and delivery of furniture and necessary materials.
Equipping the Shelters
Installation, placement of furniture, and final arrangement of the space.
Handover and Use
The furniture is transferred to the institutions' balance sheets, and the comfortable space begins working for the children every day.
Project implementation period: from 15.02.2026 to 15.08.2026
Currently, the needs of the kindergarten shelters have already been identified, and the procurement of furniture is underway.
